Since January 19th, we have had the privilege of serving in 4 different homes in our area through prayer, worship, and by helping facilitate Ephesians 4, 5, and 1 Corinthians 14:26 type gatherings.  No “performance”, just realistic Jesus-family getting together to bless the Lord and encourage one another.

In one home we were overwhelmed with beautiful expressions of refreshing and prophetic encouragement through words of knowledge, wisdom, and revelation (spoken and sang).  And, for the record, I don’t throw around the word “prophetic” to just mean “spontaneous”, “new”, or “encouraging”; the Lord has graciously given people specific insights and pictures with which to encourage one another in an amazing way.

In another, the Lord quickly moved those gathered into a time of interceding for the river valley and humbly calling out and asking for“delivers to be delivered” and for local leader (many prayed for by name) to be strengthened, encouraged, and protected. The accounts (we were to discover later) of some of the things that actually happened at the very same time we were praying these prayers is mind-blowing.

At the other two we got to see fires ignited (”fanned into flame”) in people (by their own words) who had “been present, but not truly worshiping for a long time,” and who had “been giving themselves to pursuing fulfillment apart from God,” but getting the encouraging push from the Lord that they needed to re-engage in their pursuit of Christ alone.  He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and He won’t leave us hanging if we seek Him on a snowy Saturday night.  He’s has been faithful to renew the Hope of our calling in Him.

In every meeting, the written Word of God and the glorious Lamb of God have been the centerpiece of our words, our prayers, and our worship - as the Holy Spirit does what He loves to do - REVEAL JESUS; REVEAL TRUTH.

We have commitments already made between now and March 15th, and have been turning down “repeats” (for now), because we want to remain available for YOU and your friends and family.  If you’d like us to come and worship with you in your home, now’s a good time to ask.
